IRC, Internet Relay Chat, has been part of my technical journey for decades and still shows up now and then. That said, BotServ.de won’t be hosting general IRC content. We focus on BotServ systems across various Internet Relay Chats and AI integrations instead. What you’ll find here is a carefully curated learning path to IRC, built from the best resources available.
Why this matters: IRC has been running since 1988 and it still works. Building bots and running networks on IRC teaches you protocols, sockets, and automation from first principles. Those fundamentals translate directly to modern AI agents and chatbots.
